The Clare County Museum
Having succeeded Mr Dominic Egan in 1999 as curator of the €5million capital project, The Clare County Museum , Daniel managed its development from renovation stage to award winning exhibition. Crucially, this included an inventory of the number, location and extent of artefact collections throughout Clare, and Clare artefacts based abroad. Daniel also established a feasible loan request and agreement with the National Museum of Ireland, upon which he later executed a Faculties Report and a Security & Environment report with the National Museum. Daniel had also previously worked on the production of condition reports for Dundalk UDC pertaining to the County Louth collection of artefacts based at the National Museum of Ireland.
